I'm Julian Hawkes, founder of Garrison City Dog Training, working with dogs and owners in Portland, Maine and the surrounding areas.
My work goes well past basic obedience. Alongside everyday manners and behavior work — including aggression, biting and reactivity — I offer protection work, scent detection and service dog training for dogs suited to it.
I train in your home and neighborhood, because that's where the behavior actually happens. And I coach you every session. A dog that only listens to a trainer isn't the goal — your dog listening to you is.
